I am curious and want to see the to see the color. I think I over work my backgrounds and it kills time. When is it necessary to elaborate the background and when/how can I simplify it? Hard question...

The colors were made by a friend of mine. I'll post it too so you can see how we handled the background. I wish I could give you a straight answer. It depends a lot on what happens in the panels you're illustrating. When the action in the foreground is very dynamic and you want that to show then you might wanna ease a bit on the background. But if you're depicting an establishment or a more general view for example then the details on the background are helpful as well. I hope that hepled a bit
